ITSS Postdoc Assists Grenada National Museum
In March 2023, IN THE SAME SEA Postdoctoral Fellow Felicia Fricke has been helping the Grenada National Museum (GNM) with the curation and analysis of human remains at their institution. She has also run a workshop on osteology for members of the Grenada Public Archaeology Network (GPAN), and has given a well-attended public lecture on her recent historical research into Antony O’Hannan, the rebel priest of Grenada. The lecture was an in-person repeat of a Zoom event that took place in December 2022. The Zoom recording can be accessed on the Facebook page of the Grenada Genealogical and Historical Society (GGHS), and on YouTube. Many thanks are due to her hosts, Jonathan Hanna (GNM/GPAN); John Angus Martin (GNM); and Philip Thorne, Craig Cochrane, and Stephen Lewis (GGHS).
A longer report on Felicia’s activities at the GNM can be found on the website for Now Grenada.
