ITSS Postdoctoral Fellow to Give Keynote Speech at Reuvensdagen 2023
IN THE SAME SEA is pleased to announce that Postdoctoral Fellow Felicia Fricke will be giving this year's keynote speech at the Reuvensdagen, the national archaeology conference in the Netherlands, on Thursday 16th November 2023. The conference will take place in Hoorn, a town to the northeast of Amsterdam, and will include sessions on the climate crisis, computer modelling, colonial Ghana, and the Dutch dykes. Felicia's keynote speech is entitled 'Archaeology, Ethics, and Society: Exploring Slavery in the Dutch Colonial Context'. More information can be found here.
