New intern - Christian Kofoed Hansen

Christian K. Hansen is a research assistant within the In The Same Sea project. He holds a bachelor and master degree in history from the University of Copenhagen. He is particularly interested in modern history, contemporary history, political history, and history of ideas, concepts, and ideologies. Throughout his studies, he has explored various historical eras including the era of transatlantic slavery. As a research assistant on the ITSS project, he will record interisland trade and gossip found in Caribbean newspapers and translate Danish language sources.
